IELTS Academic
The IELTS Academic test is for students applying for higher education or professional
registration in English-speaking countries. This version of the exam is designed to assess your
ability to understand and use complex academic language in reading, writing, speaking, and
listening.
Test Components:
- Reading: 3 sections with 40 questions, featuring texts from books, journals, and newspapers.
- Writing: 2 tasks, including describing a graph or diagram (Task 1) and writing an essay (Task 2).
- Listening: 4 sections, each with 10 questions. This includes conversations, discussions, and academic lectures.
- Speaking: A face-to-face interview with an examiner, covering topics such as personal experiences and hypothetical situations.
